The Educational And Carrier Screening Program For Cree Leukoencephalopathy (CLE) And Cree Encephalitis (CE) in now available!

NOTE: You do not need a referral from your doctor for this program.

The objectives of this program are:
  • Raise awareness and provide education about hereditary conditions (CLE and CE) in Eeyou Istchee
  • Ensure access to services for genetic consultation and testing
  • Support the Eeyou Awaash Foundation
This program offers:
  • Educational sessions for individuals and groups.
  • Carrier screening test by voluntary participation to individuals over 14 years old.
